Stevie Legend
About Me;

My History: Working with bands, solo, piano bar,
dueling pianos, and recording artist. My CD Mood
Swings is a selection of instrumental New Age music .I
spent many years with Carnival Cruise Lines. Playing
Drums professionally for five years, starting in 1963.
Then switching to Hammond Organ and piano in 1968.
After working The Colorado scene for eight years, I
moved to Kansas City, working and touring with my
own band, "Legend" for ten years. Returning to Denver
in 1986, I was a founding member of J.D. and the Love
Bandits. Working most of the ski resorts in Colorado
and surrounding areas. Winner of the 1986 Colorado
division, of the Willie Nelson Wrangler Jeans
Invitational unsigned bands contest. Moving to Hilton
Head Island, SC, in 1991 and the Caribbean later for
many years. I played most every venue on Hilton Head
and later on Carnival Cruise Lines for over fifteen
years. Living later in St.Thomas and Las Vegas. I'm still
moving around like a dog in heat! Playing Hammond
B-3 organ and Kurzweil keyboards. Doing a solo act
with over 400 songs, and singing around 150 of them.
Mostly classic rock, but covering most styles. In Las
Vegas, I was working as a solo act just off the strip for
much of 2008. Over the years I've shared the stage and
worked with such artists and bands as: The Allman
Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Steve
Cropper, Matt Guitar Muphey, Dr.John. Commader
Cody, Jack Mac & the Heart Attack, Michael Grimm,
and many more. I now work as a session player and
production associate in St. Louis, Missouri, recording,
and producing new talent, and working on new projects
for myself. Still playing gigs, and always open to new
projects and adventures! Selections from Stevie
